Where was this ⇧ when I needed it yesterday in the "This or That" thread?

She had a rough time falling asleep
the other night.
Being Sunday, I didn't have the
heart to turn on the SOS signal light. ;)

The rear window on these vehicles had
enough compartment space where I
would lay down on long trips.

Reading the Burma~Shave signs along
the road, counting the horses on the fields, or the shape of clouds, I would
fall asleep.
A stop at our favorite gas station to
"filler-up", and a soda pop to enjoy
a home-made sandwich.

Listening to the car radio until the
the sound of the "snap-crackle-pop"
came in meaning that the radio signal was getting weak.
But eventually another station kicked in
as we got closer to another town.

Looks to me like a decomissioned trolley car -- note the folded-down trolley pole extended toward the rear. The stacks of oil cans in the window suggest something, but it's odd there's no signage.

You, as always, look spot on with the trolley call (the front, too, just feels "trolley"). But odd about the lack of signage. The oil cans and lack of signage is what made me think gas station office / storage.

Love the old grease pit! I looked at a house with a three car garage, my realtor said, "I wounder what that plywood is doing in the middle of the floor?" I knew, so I lifted it and showed him. Unfortunately, way out of my budget!
