ive seen it? a tidy hat and well priced for a real one, but what i would really View attachment 10556 like , is one of these stamps lol
The description says it does.Does that one have stitching at the brim edge?It doesn't look like it does.
I have read the posts in this section. But, I am no expert. Is this an accurate reproduction of a 1889 Campaign hat?

looks good , correct rrippon, 2 " sweatband , brim stitching. good height crown, but not sure about the vent tho ! dont think it the correct snowflake
Not for a Scout hat.a military rippon is what you need for that hat,
Here is my latest Scout Campaign hat.
It is the 'Scout Association' (U.K.) version. £42 on the website, this is brand new and from ebay £30.
The hat itself, is very similar to my 'Olney'. But, without the vent holes in the crown, but does have a leather lace. No idea who the maker is.
It also comes with this very cheap and very nasty PVC hatband. Which I removed straight away!
Why on earth put this rubbish on it?
Very nice job, quick question where did you get the leather replacement band from? I am thinking of getting one and your band really gives it that extra zing.
