Just got this from an eBay auction, but dang it, it's too big for me! Going to stick with 7-1/4 from now on . . .
Hat is a nice-quality panama of uncertain vintage. There's no brand visible anymore; the sweatband says "Hand Woven in Ecuador." Size is a full 7-3/8. Proportions are nice, with a wide 3" brim and a 5" teardrop crown. Condition is excellent, with only a small smudge near the right front and a bit of wear on one side of the crease -- both visible in the photos. Overall the straw is clean and flexible, with no breaks or tears. The hatband is a simple 3/4" black-leather band. The black leather sweatband is 1-1/4" and is still supple and whole, with no cracks or tears.
I'm asking what I paid, which is just $56. This includes USPS Priority Mail shipping to the lower 48 only. A great deal on a perfect Summer hat!
These are the auction photos, which pretty much tell the story.
