I found some finds and thought I'd share. I'd like to order these but having ordered several pairs of NN shoes in the past, the comforability factor was poor. But I have to admit these are cute and maybe some discomfort for one night on the town might be worth it for the sake of style:

I love Newport News!

I love this site, and my husband bought me a fabulous leopard-print velvet coat from there last year:

(Sorry gals, it's currently sold out!)

I've currently got my eye on a couple of other pics. The leopard jacket would probably come in handy around these parts (such parts being Dallas, Texas), but since it's been in the 70s most of the winter, I'm not sure the pink wool overcoat would be of much use.

As for the shoes, they have so many adorable retro-inspired styles, a girl can hardly see straight! Here are two of my favorites:

I love Newport News!

I swear by Newport News and their clothes. I have had so much success in finding vintage style clothing and shoes. I have fairly large feet (size 11) and finding shoes that have the vintage look and aren't that expensive has always been a challenge for me. When I discovered NN, I instantly fell in love. Every shoe I have ordered has been comfortable and fit perfectly.
I have a black pump that I bought from then that I wear constantly. They are super comfortable. I also just bought a faux fur coat from them that has this fantastic late 30's look. Oversized collar, etc. It's my prized possesion. Newport News has been my savior as of late.

I was wondering how you find the sizing to run at NN? Is it prety much true to size? For some reason their stuff looks like it would run small.

not sure of the price though.

I am pretty certain that Alberto Fermani is fairly expensive, in comparision to Newport News stuff.
