Newbie on board

Hi there, Hello everyone

Reading from south of France. I just registered but been around for weeks, watching all the incredible jackets on display ! I personally own 2 jackets, first is a dark brown Schott 656 Cafe Racer I bought in 1981, when I was 23 y.o. in NYC and still wear… ;-)

The other is more recent (pictured) : a Stewart Italian horse leather made in collaboration with French mechanical workshop & garage Blitz. I love them both.
But the Stewart stayed ( too long I guess) on my wardrobe and is now very stiff. Any ideas to bring it back to life ?

See if a coating or two of Pecard will soften it It should. Or any good quality conditioner that is available in France. My wife and I have some French saddles (Basque Region) so I know they have quality conditioners for the saddles there.

Merci pour ce conseil. Je ne suis pas sûr de trouver « Pecard » ici, mais je vais chercher quelque chose qui s'en rapproche… Le vrai problème avec cette veste de cheval, c'est qu'elle se raidit quand il fait froid et ne se redresse pas quand il fait plus chaud. Je ne peux l'assouplir que temporairement, avec de l'huile et en la frottant fermement… mais ça ne dure jamais ! Cordialement. Étrange idée de la Floride !

Normal that it stiffens when cold, but it should soften when warmed.
