Right now there's a seller on eBay who has several Langlitz Columbia police jackets with cossack collars. I picked up the one that had the measurements that fit me best, and it arrived today.
I had plans to go for a ride after work, so when I got home and found the jacket had arrived, I threw it on over my t-shirt and headed out. First thing I noticed was that the fit was spot on. I'm glad I picked it up. I always have my doubts about the accuracy of sellers measurements, but in this case I got a great fitting jacket. Mine was made in 2001, according to the writing in the inside pocket. It looks to have been barely worn before I took ownership.
After dark it got down to 60F, and I found the jacket kept me warm at 75mph, even though I didn't have any layers underneath. I was very impressed with the thinsulate lining, it is a very warm jacket. The leather is also a bit thicker than my other Columbia, which I like, although my other Columbia is no slouch.
The only downside to the jacket is the police badge holder -- I forget what they're called. I'm not sure what to do with it. It's not a big issue, as I bought the jacket primarily for function, not looks. But I'd rather have a pocket in that location. It's not really a big deal, though.
If you're thinking about getting one, and haven't yet, do so.
I'll have to post some pictures tomorrow.
