New Spielberg Movie ?

I read another post that he was making another SPR or BOB type war movie. Rumor has it it will be based on the book by E.B. Sledge "With the old Breed". This was/is a great book I read back in the 80's. They said it is being filmed in Australia complete with a full scale mock up of Henderson Field. Any of our friends in OZ know anything ? If it is true any of you WW2 buffs hemming and hawing on that USMC item better buy it now ! Chances are all USMC items will hit the roof after this comes out. Like I said it's just a rumor .......

It's not a rumor their is a "B.O.B." type of show in the works for HBO call "The Pacific"
Well that is what I have heard, so I could be wrong.

Excellent ! I guess I'll have to wait a couple years till it comes out on DVD. I have basic cable no movie channels. Basic cable is all I need, News and the History channel cause I'm a boring guy.
