New New Tuskegee movie "Red Tails" by George Lucas

Hey All, I wanted to see if anyone had any information in regards to the 2010 movie "Red Tails". Youtube has some behind the scene clips but no trailer or release date as of yet. It has been filmed (2009) and all of the actors are listed on IMDB.

The story of the Tuskegee Airmen is a great part of the USAF history. It seems that G Lucas has a pretty good understanding of WWII aviation history, so I am betting on good things.

I am looking forward to it! I am sure it will take artistic license to cram the story into 2hrs - but it will tell a story worth telling and to an audience by and large ignorant of history.

fftopic: does anyone know if 'Last Full Measure' ever got made to complete the 'Gods & Generals' and 'Gettysburg' trilogy?

WOW!! Great pics!! Thank you for the link. My hopes are pretty high on this movie. With the abilities of ILM and some of the scenes of the test scrips for the actors this doesn't seem like it's going to be a Star Wars PG type film (and I LOVE SW BTW, I'm a member of the 501st). I used to work for a hobby store out of high school and we had reunions for Tuskegee members at our store. one of my favorite customers there was a gentleman named Clint Martin and he was a crew chief. Solid< solid gentleman.....he was always looking for P51B kits cause he was painting them for surviving members of the unit.
