I've been lurking about for some months now, and have now joined. I hope I contribute to this website that I have come to adore.

I enjoy vintage clothing of all shapes and sizes, and consider it a pity that real hats are no longer the norm.

That is a great start for the collection. i am partial to the Resistol and the Stetson.

Ain't that a Norfolk Island Pine behind you in that last photo? Was the picture snapped in your home state of Texas? If so, whereabouts there?

First, I would like to thank all of you for the compliments paid and warm welcomes.

I make my residence in Port Aransas, about fifteen miles or so from Corpus Christi, which, in my opinion, gives me an excuse to get a few straws for the summertime.

I also hold a home in Kalispell, Montana and float back and forth between my two homes as need be. And yes Tonyb, that is a Norfolk Island Pine, I feels that it gives a dash of character to the lawn, palms dominating down here as it is.
