3 OZ goat, Japanese lining, throat latch with 2 buttons (to hold it open or closed) and brown stitching. Based off of his M200 with a bunch of custom touches. Absolutely love it, Alan is a great guy and passionate about his work - fun to work with. The build quality is impressive. Came in exactly when promised.

Looks spectacular. I'm expecting my JL in mid November and couldn't agree more...Alan is a pleasure to work with and a fun guy to talk to. I absolutely love the shape of that button cuff!!

Very nice. love that lining. I've owned two Custom Johnson Leathers. I just had to try them on. they were both too big. I just wanted them to fit. I'll get another some day. He does nice work.

Stunning jacket there! Amazing details and I love the look of that thick goatskin too. I am also a real fan of the red plaid interior with the black goatskin outer, and contrasting stitching as well really sets the jacket off. Really hope you enjoy this one as it breaks in and really becomes your jacket!

That is an absolutely awesome jacket, jhl! Do you mind if I ask the price? I'd be curious to know the process by which this design morphed from the M-200 ...

Thanks everybody for the kind comments. I happened to be in San Fran for a few days so I met Alan and had some ideas from various jackets I've seen and he put it all together. For pricing it was right in line with the major custom jacket manufactures, perhaps a touch lighter - I think pricing is very dependent upon what materials Alan has in stock etc so I don't feel comfortable posting the price but I think this should give you an idea.
