Oh sure. Welcome to the Fedora Lounge. HWT= Hot Water treatment. There are several threads on the subject found here in FDL land. In this case, I'm using more of a luke warm water treatment, and a very slow drying process as to not shrink the leather and yet speed up the aging process. Another fairly newbie question. How different is this from a premier highwayman? Apart from the sleeve closures is the body fit much the same?

The premium highway man is somewhat slimmer than the standard but its still a regular fit as compared to a sheene or half belt which is a slim fit.
My understanding is the Premier range is very trim. I generally have to get a size or two larger for one to fit.

The Premier Range is cut very slim, narrow shoulders, trim in body, trimmer sleeves.
The Sheene is based on the Cafe Racer pattern which means fairly broad shoulders and large chest but a crazy taper through the body. A size 40 has like 23" ptp chest measurement which is huge for a size 40 but will taper down to a 19" waist which is very trim. A size 40 Premier Highwayman will have considerably narrower shoulders in the same size, probably one inch less, and be trimmer in the chest and wider in the body. Imagine a tubular fit rather than the v-fit on the Sheene.
Aero jackets are typically large on me (for the marked size). The Premier range or Board Racer based models fit much better.
