Here's a few pics of the Highwayman being sent to me from Scotland. Does the collar look off or what?

One side does look longer to me. I'm surprised that Aero didn't catch that before it went out the door. Who made it?(check the paper tag for name). I'd certainly send the pic to Will or Amanda.

I think it's the angle of that side of the collar that's creating the illusion that it's shorter. I would be surprised if Aero sent you a jacket with such a glaring defect. But I'd ask them to confirm before shipment.

The jacket is in the shipping process now. This is the pic that Amanda sent to me. I questioned it and Amanda said the collar points are EXACTLY the same length and it's the way the collar is sitting. When I disagreed, she passed me to Will who insists that he measured both collar sides and they are exactly even. Then he say it might be a millimeter off and not noticible to the eye. I know what I see, so I told him that if I measure it and it's off, they're making me a new one. He agreed and so I will wait and see. It seems to me all they had to do is adjust the collar and send another pic to alleviate any stress. Well, I hope it measures out even cause one thing I can't stand is a liar.

After you recieve the jacket..and measure the collar(if it's close to the same)...wet it with some tap water and shape it by hand (I do this to all my Aero HH jackets). I really don't think that Will would be dishonest with you at all....although it may 'look' that way..

Airing this out here before you have it in hand while making some fairly serious accusations with people whom have a stellar reputation is uncool, IMHO.

I bet that the right collar has a bigger roll to it, and you just cannot see that in the front projection. I bet.

I thought this was the picture of the jacket in-hand.
You can't tell from a photo if the collar is even. As others have said, most likely this roll of the collar is different on the two sides...the photo isn't quite straight on, etc.
If you questioned Amanda about it and she said the measurement's are the same, and Will double checked this, I strongly suspect you have nothing to worry about.

That's it!! The left side of the collar sits higher. Due to the initially stiff FQHH this effect sometimes occurs. I've seen it on various jackets. It will disappear with wear. Don't worry!

I also think it might be the photo. Photos often makes things look flatter so one does not see the height of the left one.

If it indeed is millimeters difference then that is nothing, as HD says, just wet it and mold and it wont be visible, I would take that jacket any day even with an off collar because the leather looks absolutely fantastic!!!! It looks alot thicker then mine and the color is simply amazing!

Thanks for all of your input. And thanks for understanding how I feel, knowing I've got a new Aero coming, {my first order}, and seeing a possible problem. I'm hoping you fellas are right and I'm wrong.
I certainly feel better waiting for it now, after listening to you guys and that's what this forum is all about.
As for the hide, it is Brown FQHH. And Will told me it is a very heavy jacket. Yes, and the graining looks incredible. Can't wait to get it!

hi,your jacket looks great to me,,i picked up my highwayman on wednesday @ couldnt be happier,,wait till you try it on ,,,the guys at aero are fantastic to deal with @ im sure if there was an issue they would deal with it,,
