Bravo, Worf! That's a fantastic rendition of the Barnstormer. Makes me really motivated to get on and order one myself.... Just have to fund it! I assume it's mouton on the collar? I fancy one also in brown with as long a pile mouton as possible (think: Manfred von Richthoffen). Did you add to the length? Is it Aero's standard length - or Thurston's traditional Aero standard plus an inch? (I ask as I'dc want mine to be long enough to cover a blazer or suit jacket with ease - looks like yours would).

The Simmonds motorist cap looks great with it.

Darn you Worf! I have been looking for a new motorcycle jacket, one that would stand out in the crowed, this comes mighty close.

Yes, I've been wondering about that myself recently. with the right sort of bike (obvs required a more upright seating position), ot would be excellent.

I need to check in more often. Just saw this. I love that coat for your part of the country. You did a good job on the color. The whole thing just fits together. How warm is the Alpaca? Congratulations.

I'll second Fanch's comment. I've often thought that if I had to move back up north I'd want a Barnstormer, and I've played with various configurations, but that has got to be the nicest I've seen. All the best.

Fantastic looking Barnstormer. What a beauty!
Your profile says you are in upstate ny. I am in Brooklyn and I've been up there near you during winters and I know how cold it can get. Does the jacket really hold up to those sharp winds?

With the Alpaca lining it holds up well. Not going to be as warm as say a B3 or and Irvin but you don't freeze in it that's for sure.
