New Aero style

I don't think so. The HWM seems more boxy with the only taper being at the hem itself. The beauty of the HB design is the ability to taper a bit higher up the back, which changes the taper/flare at the hem. To me the HWM is designed to hit right at the belt, where the BL can extend a bit past the belt. A HWM needs to be shorter. The BL can go either way, but I think they look better longer than shorter.

Thanks, the 50s HB in sale page has 0.5 inches bigger in chest than my highwayman and I am not sure it will be little too big for me.

Is 50's HB exactly same cut as highwayman?

Not quite - it's somewhere in between the HWM Std and the 30s HB. FWIW, my HWM std is, from memory, 50" around the chest, my Bootlegger (50s HB measurements) about 48" - both size 42. I have also owned a 30s HB in a size 42, and the chest on that was about 45".

I saw this 1930s one recently on Ebay. Beautiful Capeskin, one of the best I've seen:

Made me think on the Bootlegger/Moonshiner. Also the one in Seabiscuit:

I think I'm in between sizes,so it's my gut versus the level of taper in the jacket that is at issue.... I'd always go with Aero's advice, though. (I think too they'vE tweaked some patterns since 2012).
