need some ideas for my first ART hat

You can ponder the perfect hat spec's for your first hat from Art till beavers are extinct or plunge in and chose a color you like (most easily complements current wardrobe), an edge treatment you like, a brim width and ribbon width/color and ORDER IT. When it comes home you wear it with a goofy smile on your face and three days later you start to think of the next one. No disloyalty to your new hat. It's just that when it is in your hands and on your head you just want to complete the set. I've got three and have dialed the first 9 digits of Art's phone number probably twenty times. Relax its a hat it should make us feel good not pressured.

yes the borsalino would be a vintage. I don't like a lot of the new fedoras, the felt quality just doesn't seem that great. its pretty wild when i haven't even made any payment and i all ready have another Art creation in mind. Its more of an all around outdoor hat, go hiking with it, go fishing, go on walks, work in the yard. Not sure if he does 50 rabbit 50 beaver, will have to ask him soon about that. My other hat ideas is like a tall bowler with a 2 in a half inch brim with pencil roll all the way around, most cowboy hatters call it the gunfighter style of hat. I figured i'd wear it with kacki's a half button shirt, and suspenders, plus other different styles. So i will pass the idea to Art about the idea of that style of hat for my next one. He is a very talented hat maker, from what i've seen he's top notch in my book. fftopic:
