Need help with a hookless zipper!

I accidentally managed to separate the zipper at the bottom of my Freewheelers Mulholland jacket. The zipper puller stills works on the upper part but I can’t close the zipper. Is there an easy fix?
Maybe pulling out the top stopper’s and reinstalling the zipper puller? Can anyone give me a hint how to do it and what equipment is required.

It happened while I was wearing the jacket and I think luck and the spirit of Houdini helped me to take the jacket off without unzipping the jacket.

I think what you said is probably the best way.

This exact thing happened to me, but I wasn't able to Houdini it. I started getting a little nervous so I ended up doing it the barbarian way lol!

BTW, what is that white stuff in between the zipper teeth on the female (and a little bit on the male) side?

It’s candle wax that I applied on the zipper in hope that it will smooth the zipper movement.
