I think I need your help on this one. I am currently thinking about a movie I saw years ago, it was probably from the 1930s or 40s.
It starts with a man who becomes aquainted with a woman during a trip to Mexico or perhaps Spain, they marry shortly after and move to his house.
Soon after that she starts to get the impression that her husband is planning to kill her.
I don't remember any more details, except the fact that the husband had some kind of a bizarre museum in his cellar, where he collected reproductions of rooms in which famous men had killed their wives.
I wonder if you have any Ideas, this movie is haunting me for almost a week now. I hope I don't mix up details from different movies...
