I recentyl aquired this navy Stetson St. Regis. It looks like it just came out of the box from the hat store. I just am not comfortable in a homburg yet.

I'm open for trades. My ideal size is 7 3/8 long oval but I do have many 7 1/2 and 7 1/4 hats that work.
I'll also sell for $90 plus shipping

I know I have said this like 100 times but I may be interested. I am selling some things around the house and if they pans out I may take the leap because I have been tinkering with the idea of wearing a homburg. Kind of off topic but do you think a homburg is only for suits or do you think slacks and an overcoat can pull it off?

I don't think I'm the right person to ask because I struggle to wear a homburg with anything. Alan, Robert, and several other loungers look amazing in their homburgs in both dressy and informal attire.

The open crown height is 5 3/4 inches and the brim width is about 2 1/2 inches when not curled.

I wear grey St. Regis with my dark wool coat. Homburg is a lighter grey, coat is very dark grey. I have the same model as Rodkins, except for color.

I'd love to have a homburg but I'm completely uncertain as to whether I could 'pull it off,' which to me means I don't think I could put it on, look in the mirror, and then actually walk out of the house with it still on my head. So I guess I'm kind of in your boat, Rodkins.

I have 8 felt homburgs and 2 straw homburgs. They look great with a suit and equally nice with dressy casual attire. In my opinion, you don't have to have the overcoat to make it work for you. You will always be a cut above when sporting a homburg.

Someone should prevent me from stretching this hat up a size and ironing the Homburg right out of it. None of my hats are this pristine. What a beauty, and for a mere hundred bucks . . . Shoot, that's not even 2 tanks of gas!
