My Verdict on Quality

Well, here I am again tooting the horn about Beaver Brand. I have been so pleased, as have my customers. The reviews on the quality of felt and craftsmanship of Beaver Brand from all of you that have purchased have been much appreciated. The top three finishes (Silk, Velour and Grand Beaver) are hand-finished, not machine finished. Based on the feedback, I guess it really makes a difference.

I am saving the "advertising" for a couple of new posts in the "merchants" forum.

Pretty bold move there, Duane, seein' how Stetson is the only hat brand known by the general public. I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I don't fault a retailer for carrying what he can sell. He has bills to pay, after all. Still, it's good to see a guy decide he'd rather lose a sale here and there than peddle what he knows to be a lesser value.

If I could order the custom beaver quality in the regular grey that would be a definate buy to the hat color I've been searching for. Could I do custom in a regular grey and can it be done in an open crown? Thank you and thank you from straying away from the wool and on to better quality felt.
