I have a 40" chest, 180 pounds and it fits comfortably tight. I would recommend you to order this in your true size unless you are very skinny. If very skinny, you may want to size down, as for example Mendelboaz (spelling?) did in his model B, I believe. He is my height and same chest width but only 150 pounds orso and he fits into the 38, looking great.

Does your jacket have a fleece liner? There is some differences in terms of sizes with and without the liners.

Doesn't have a liner, has interior stud buttonholes to put one in, though.

Great jacket! I have both the Model B and the Model B Deluxe versions of this, and they are pretty much everything one would require of a riding jacket. Monitor is correct concerning getting them wet: water doesn't seem to phase them.

Recently, I have almost exclusively been wearing my vtg Langlitz Cascade I bought used at ebay. The America and the Stadium (also Vanson) are both in my current jacket rotation but get rarely picked. I need to have the lining repaired and a 2nd inside pocket added to the Langlitz so it will be gone for a few weeks soon and I hope the America gets more wear again then.
