My New Marathon

Got my new Penny's Marathon today! Wow, this hat is brand new and looks like it was never worn. It even came with the box. I have no idea of the date of the hat, as there was no price tag. If someone can help me date it, that would be great!!
The brim is 2 3/8", the crown is 4 7/8", and the ribbon is 1 5/8".

And a box no less, from the dark sweat and the logo on the liner I would think a 60's model. I havent seen a logo like that till this hat.
I just noticed the little R for the trademark, I really think mid to late 60's and maybe on into the 70's.

The hat is probably from the late 1950's to early 1960's. I dont know when JC Pennys stopped carrying hats but it doesn't look later than that.
