Shoulders and chest look good. But even allowing that the style of this jacket tends to run on the short side - that fit plainly looks too short (sleeves and length). If I saw you on the street, my initial impression would be that you'd long outgrown a nice jacket. That would be fine, to my thinking, if the jacket had some personal story behind it (if you'd inherited a short jacket from a family member and loved bombing around in it anyway) but for a new top-end garment that you paid good money for - even if you got a 'deal' on it - it makes no sense to settle for it. A poorly fit jacket is not a good deal.
I would learn what I could from the jacket (you now know the chest and shoulder sizing for this model, and probably have a great sense of how much you like the leather, the lining, etc.) and cut my losses. Stop wearing the jacket so you can get as much back for it as possible on the second-hand market and put the cash towards a jacket that fits.
Cant you send it back to Alexanders? They have great customer service?
