My Art Deco Library Project

[Mister Cairo]

Area rug finally received and placed. Custom order from our place that did entry way rugs for us.

A neutral and light design and colour scheme to balance and complement the darker tones of bookcases and furniture.

A very nice and cozy sanctuary.

I need to use it more often, now that spring farm and garden work is finally done!

@Mister Cairo Absolutely love how the room turned out!

One suggestion I'd make is to replace the curtains with velvet ones. I think this would better match the vintage Art Deco aesthetic.

Curtains are an intermediate measure to keep light out and add at least some decor to an incomplete project.

I am likely going custom at some point, researching suplliers now!
