My Aero d-1 fit questions

I did, this is what she have replied to me:
"The standard sleeve length on a size 42 D-1 is about 24.5 inches. The average sleeve length for our stock and custom D-1 orders is about 26.5 inches...the stock length is too short for most people, but you can get them any length you want on a custom order. "
So, I guess, I should be ok with a standard length sleeve

I ordered one off the Aero sales page before and found the standard sleeve length to be way too short. Barely made it to my wrists and had to send it back.

Here is a fit pic of my Aero redskin D-1 that I ordered through Thurston. Sleeve length is 26.25" per the order due to the narrower shoulder. For reference, I'm 5'11 and this is a size 38.

Below is the Aero redskin B-6, size 40. You can see the sleeves are bunching, but I don't mind at all. I love this B-6.

And finally, compare this to the Aero redskin B-3, size 40.

If this was my jacket, the only thing I would change is the sleeve length. I'd go for shorter sleeves. This is personal preference though. Those sleeves and the rest of the fit looks fine on you.

Trailsallday, where are you located ? Looking at your jacket, I'm not sure anymore that I still want redskin, I would of loved to see it and try it on in person .
Monitor, thank you for the valid points, I never thought about it that way, you are absolutely correct.
It might balloon up and ride up, it might be a bad look for this jacket. But than, I might as well go with Eastman d-1, if I'm not customizing the jacket.
If anyone tried Eastman vs Aero d-1, what do you think ?
Also, I'm attaching few more pics. Can you guys look at the sleeves ? I pushed them up where I feel the sleeves should end, but doesn't the sleeves around the elbow look to sloppy and bunched up ? Are you sure, it would shrink ?Is this the way it should look ?

Looks very nice to me. Full disclosure- I like slightly longer sleeves and love the arm creasing that results.
Body length is good- I would not go any longer. It is a winter jacket. I personally, off your fit photos, would keep the sleeve length as is.

Thanks guys, yeah I think for me it should be at least 1.5" or 2" shorter in the sleeves. It is not even about the looks, it is just very uncomfortable . Powersci , yours dont bunch up as much, only maybe b3 .
Other than that, that jacket is a dream, warm, light and craftsmanship is top notch .
I'm still not sure about the color , redskin, dark seal or oil pull .
I hate choosing , sigh ...

That redskin B6 is one of the coolest jackets I've ever seen posted here and full disclosure, I don't even really like these all that much. But that jacket just slays on all levels.

You'll have to see it in person some time! My picture doesn't do justice to the true color. Bfd got to check it out the other day.

Chicago weather swings like an old carnival ride, fast and dangerous. It was in the fifties Friday. Tomorrows high is 22.

Isn't there a raging blizzard up there?

Just finished shoveling the sidewalk and garage. Like Bfd said, our weather swings in the blink of an eye. On the bright side I got a snow day out of it. An extra day of Thanksgiving break!
