Someone get Jackson Browne a hat!

it's easier to find him with a moustache than with a hat...

I give him a lot of credit for The Basement Tapes.

I give him a lot of credit for just about everything they did.
They begged him to join the band and even as a member all the other members would pay him weekly for music lessons.
He taught them theory and about classical music.
He was the seasoned schooled musician who basically turned them all into beasts

Funny, because he was the one you heard least about.

I'll check it out. I just finished Paul Trynka's biography of Brian Jones. Trynka's thesis is that Jones was largely responsible for the introduction of American blues back into this country's popular culture in the early '60's, and that he was also responsible for the interest in North African rhythms with his "Pipes of Pan at Joujouka" album of 1969.

Sometimes Bob Hufford has a little bit of a Garth Hudson thing going on that I like!

Thanks Jack -- I should grow my hair out long. :)

not many people know that Garth is a f#*$ing genius .... literally

That was the comparison HJ was making to me. It had nothing to do with the beard ...

This is good , live from Bonnaroo 2011 , Mumford and Sons , with The Old Crow Medicine Show (you could play count the Hats) , but check out the Hat (very common and a Favorite among many Loungers) : ... (a little long because of the lead in)
