Hi. I'm Mike and a phoneaholic. As long as I can recall I've been hooked on phones - as a kid I asked for a switchboard every christmas (even the toy sears one would do) but always ended up with toy phones, intercoms, walkie-talkies and the like.
I'm one of those guys who has several cell phones and gets a new model every year just because. I've run my own wiring, have POTS and VOIP and generally have some phone issues that I just don't want to explore too closely.
Anyway, to the matter at hand, I have a few old vintage single line phones. I also have a multi-line household. Back some 30 years ago, Radio Shack used to sell a small two line switch, about the size of a pack of cards. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might find one today, or something similar, so I can eaily use my single line phone on two lines.
Ideally, I'd love to find a phone specific box with hold support. And I really don't want one of those huge A-B cable box switchers. I'll make one if I have to, but no one really wants me to whip out the soldering iron - it get ugly fast!
Anyone have any leads?
Thanks in Advance!
Mike
