Thanks for all the nice comments on the new store, it almost killed me trying to build it and move from the other location, RBH and another friend really came to the task over the last several weeks and helped me out big time. I have been down ( not making hats ) for about 7 weeks, now I have to dig in and get with it this weekend.

I wanted the shop to have a good look to it, where folks would want to stop by and walk in and just be taken away with all the stuff in there, and it seems to be happening.

Mobile Vulgus, the Perryville event was a great event, and you and your command while in camp and in the field were top notch, I miss the events alot these days, the smell of the fires and the sound of the durms and the flags waving in the breeze, I have those things burnt in my mind for ever, and the way all the men gave me the upmost respect as General Moore at all those events. If you are down this way some time please stop by.
Hope to get a little rest this week and be ready to "cowboy up" this weekend working on hats, now have a couple of folks that will be working with me on the weekends.

I enjoyed helping out what little I did, Mike.
The fun and friendship made the weekend pass really fast.

Tell ol' Bill we are gonna have to do it again...... all except moving the plater machines. :D
{just think what it would have been had Tom Dean been there!}

Thanks Gen. Moore

I appreciate the kind words, sir. I, too, have about hung up my sword and do occasionally miss the field. I'll never forget that weekend at Perryville, it was the highlight of my reenacting career. A perfect way to end it, really.

Good luck with the shop, it sure looks dandy!
