I look at a lot of these types of hats, but I'm far from an expert. Construction and labelling looks 1950s or 1960s to me. Does it fit you?

Unfortunately it doesnt fit.

In order to wear the hat maybe it would help to remove conspicuous amount of folded newspaper (also useful in dating the hat!) which appears to have been used by a previous owner to reduce the size of this hat .

the company is well known and documented


it may be '50. considering the major inspiration given by Marlon Brando in " The wild one"
