Montgomery Wards Steerhide? 1940s? MC Jacket

Vintage 42-44 (check measurements)in what seems like Steerhide. Beautiful grain throughout. Pockets in aged moleskin are intact. The chest pocket is a cowboy lasso theme in brushed cotton and may not be original. Lining is thrashed but existent. One belt loop is partially not affixed. Coolest back I've seen on any MC jacket IMHO. Missing the snap on mouton collar. Side zips. All zips work although the main Scoville zip bottom is worn.

Also has contrasting white thread which looks cool. One collar button is stuck and pulled out of the collar on bottom side.

It’s a museum piece! A rare bird indeed. I’ve only seen one other tbh. And priced 10x as high.
