Hi all, this is my first post.

I wanted to share my new boots with you. I've just had some amazing William Lennon boots made for me by the amazing team there, so I wanted to share some of the pictures of the build process and the final product.

It all started with a factory visit to meet Libs and the wider team, who helped me design my perfect boot.
The specification:
78TC, size 8, brown Horween leather
10 eye with brass details.
White stitching
Vibram commando sole
fully lined
Brass rivets (from WW1 boots)

Really nice, and great you got the tour.

If they offered Dainite soles as an option I'd get another pair off them, as I like the two Derby's with commando soles I have, but fancy a thinner non-leather sole.

I've had my eye on a pair for a while . . . if only the $AU was worth more than Monopoly money I'd have 'em by now. Yours look great mate. Thanks for the pics of the manufacturing process. That's real quality right there.

Thanks for the responses.

I'm more than a little besotted with them! I've had them just over a week now and they are an absolute joy to wear and despite the weight and thickness of the leather, seem to already be moulded to my feet beautify. I try and walk over 10,000 steps a day, and they haven't done my feet any damage right out of the box. A testament to the craftsmanship and the build quality. I'm going to enjoy breaking them in and I have the feeling they will just keep improving as time goes on.

I'll keep a log of how they look over the months. I've never had so many complements from others either. People are stopping me on the street to ask about them! Its been fantastic. I cant recommend them enough.

Interestingly I bumped into a sales rep for Redwing the other day whilst in a shop, who was very interested in them. I got him to try and guess how much they cost me. He was way off...wrong by almost £400!

I have an excellent pair of Lennons, based on WWI officers ankle boots. Really fantastic pair of boots - I can't recommend them highly enough

Thanks esteban68!, it was actually your blog that started me on the journey of William Lennon discovery at the end of last year. I loved the look of your boots so much I used them as inspiration for mine! They look beautiful and have aged really well

"I love it when a plan comes together"......it's an old photo though they are virtually unchanged despite a close shave with a chainsaw last year!....I may have to get them re heeled maybe next year or the year after!

I found that after a few polishes with mid tan polish that the paler leather sole blends in well and doesn't draw as much attention as at first to the Vibram sole, not that it matters much as the soles perform well up here in Derbyshire.
I've had more comments about my Lennons than any other shoe, boot ever.

Very exciting...What have you ordered? Post some pictures if you can.

Another style caught my eye when I was at the factory (the hobnail), I'm trying to justify getting some... Well, you need to rotate your boots right? Not sure how practical they would be in everyday life mind, but they sure were beautiful.

Ironically I'm not wearing them today, I'm giving them a day off and wearing my Grensons instead, but I'm really missing the feeling that I could kick a building over. There is a certain feeling of security knowing that if the world collapses in, my Lennons boots would probably make it through unscathed, probably with my feet still in them!

Great boots MiL5419- I particularly like the contrasting stitching. I appreciate your dilemma when it comes to ordering another pair- I have developed a bit of a Lennon addiction and have just ordered my sixth pair.... will probably stop when I've got a pair for every day of the week...or checked myself into boot rehab(!)

Lennon work-boots arrived & fantastic they are. Unfortunately slightly too big & went back...shame they don't do half sizes. Great photos by the way!
