Mister Lou question...Another one

Hi all - just got a gently used pair of the 10" horsehide Mister Lou's.

I know it's probably just my perception, but the ends of the boots kind of rise up a bit. As the midsole gets broken in, does this go away? In other words, the the front part of the boot eventually soften up a bit?
Thanks!

The upturned toe is part of the look of the Mister Lou's. I've had mine for half a year now and they don't go down.

How much does the toe box collapse? I know there's no celastic toe box, but it still seems pretty stiff. Maybe part of that is the horsehide?

The toe box doesn't collapse much at all. I double checked my receipts and these are actually a year old now. The leather rolls around the foot. The upturned toe is still prominent.

Thanks for the pics - these make me feel better! The upturned toes don't look unusual to me at all. I guess it's just my perspective when I look down at my boots!
