Missing posters

I'm peeking my head in after being gone for a while. sheeplady asked a page or so back about gals hanging out just in the Powder Room. My vintage interests are fashion, hair, and crafting. I've wandered out of the Powder Room a few times over the years but most of the topics outside of the PR are not interesting to me. I don't have a lot of time to devote on-line, but I try not to post and run. Mostly, though, I read threads and check out the latest projects and purchases - I guess you could call it vintage window-shopping.

I guess I don't post a lot any more because many of the old gang here that I liked have gone or rarely post. I also feel that that sometimes opinions are stifled. I'm not talking about rudeness, sexism, politics etc, just opinions.

I'll second this. I feel a little sad coming into the forums and knowing that so-and-so isn't going to be around to make me laugh the way she always did. Mostly, I don't come in because I feel like a fraud. I've covered this in more detail in the getting motivation thread, but I've quite literally been the jeans, tees, and pony tail girl of my nightmares. It doesn't help that my job stresses me out to the point where if I DID do my hair, it would be a disaster by the end of the day from me running my hands through it.

I need to make some changes, and I'm back for the motivation to do it.
