errr, Herbie, Brown claimed 90 (1485-1576 originally stated in Wiki); Cameron claimed 86; overeager Aide to cameron altered the Wiki to state 82 (1490-1572, the changed Wiki). Wrong info on the webospheres, eh?

It was a nice exchange in PMQs. Young Dave Snooty looked all smug when he zinged in that zinger about the "he died at 86", whereas Paw Broon just looked bewildered; probably didn't even remember talking aboot Titian.


Indeed the point stands. Wiki is a very easily corruptable source. In my particular field - let's say PCR - it's pretty good; well edited and well managed by experts.
