Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

I now have British, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish government issue commando sweaters in the collection. Always liked the military surplus woolly pullies best.

I whole heartily agree, woolly pullies are great, (You can get German army & navy WPs too) The Spanish one shown above looks to be Bottle Green Colour and has more than one style of pattern / knitting too.

When you say ‘military surplus’ Woolly Pullies do you mean second-hand as opposed to the Woolly Pullies bought new?

German somehow is where I draw the line: the associations are still there a bit. ...

Most of mine are as above, new and unissued, but I have bought some from Surplus shops when they have been in very good condition. ( I happen to be wearing one of the latter now, an RAF Crew Neck WP.) :)

Yes, many of mine come from surplus shops - which often sell new WPs. I have in the past had a number of ‘second hand’ ones worn by Army, Navy or RAF men.
