I would love to meet him and get his autograph! I will never forget when Rick Monday grabbed that flag those guys were gonna burn and then Lasorda got in their faces too! I want both their cards and autographs from that season.

I have to admit that I'm not much of a baseball fan, but spending a few hours with him last night left me very much impressed! He is in his early 80's and he is still sharp as a tack and can tell stories like no man I've ever met.

He was definitely one of the more articulate baseball players out there - he always did a great job on those endorsements back in the day, imo.

Last night I was honored to break bread with an American Icon. Tommy LaSorda long time manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers was gracious enough to donate his time last night for a charity dinner with myself and nine of my closest friends. We spent about 3 hours telling stories and jokes and laughing non stop. It was a great time! :)

Looks like y'all wore him out. Yes, I know, he's signing a baseball or something, but gotta admit it looks like he dozed off somewhere and people could just run up, have a picture snapped and dash before he woke up. ;)

I was the last guy for autographs because I was taking pictures of everyone else with Tommy, so he was getting tired of signing baseballs and hats by the time it was my turn. So yes, you're right, he was getting rather tired at this point.

Big Man, the boater looks great! I've been considering trying the look myself, but wasn't sure I could pull it off- seeing yours just helped me make my decision.
