We had a Basset when I was very young, her name was Schatzie. We had to leave her with my Grandmother when we moved to Hawai'i.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts comparing the two. In addition to my Gus Miller I have a few Art Fawcetts. I wanna get one more at least from Art but I also wanted to try a Optimo.

No. She's not the gal I mentioned in the Crush thread. I met this one through her brother. I can't seem to meet women my own age. Last week, a 23 yr old asked me out for a beer after buying me a coffee at Borders. [huh]

I still think its a bit creepy. I'll be 39 in a couple of days.

Today's my birthday. Really had a black mood all day, until a young lady called and asked me to lunch tomorrow. She's 25. I honestly don't know what the heck's going on around here. [huh]

And yes ... I agreed to go for that beer later this week with the 23 yr old.

Maybe I'll take another photo of my vintage clothing choice for the lunch date tomorrow. I've gotten some very positive comments from the younger ladies and even one possible invitation to go swing dancing. I haven't danced in over 10 years, since my wife never really wanted to go. There go my nerves again.
