I hope this hasn't been posted already, but does anyone know a good way to remove waterproof mascara? I've tried vaseline, but it gets into my eyes and the oil blurs my eyesight. Also, is it hard on eyelashes?

You ladies are sooooo great, and so helpful.

Lacome Bi-Facial Eye Make-up Remover!
Yes, the price is high (about $22) but it's not oily or greasy and it's very, very gentle. Totally worth it. :eusa_clap

a Wee bit of baby oil on a qtip..gently rub across eyelashes, let sit for just a minute and then take your facial wash and wash your whole face. The oil will be just enough to soften the mascara up and the facial soap with take everything off.;)

Plain milk, on a cotton pad. It's fat based so is just great at removing makeup, I've recommended to loads of other ladies and they all love it too.

Hm, I've always liked soap and water myself. I have one of the Lancome cleansers that some of the other ladies mentioned, but I never use it.

I don't like the oil based stuff because it makes my eyelids swell. I don't like the way most oils feel on my face either, especially in the summer. I've used jojoba oil to remove makeup before, but then I used (you guessed it) soap and water to remove the oil. I guess I just like the clean feeling that you get with soap.

You can also try the vintage solution, Albolene. I find it gross myself, but apparently I am the only one I know who can't stand mineral oil and paraffin on my face. Use at your own risk.

Oil cleansing method will cleanse your skin and take off all your makeup with no need for a separate makeup remover. Actually, OCM is better than pretty much all the eye makeup removers I've tried and even whisks away eyelash glue!

I particularly like Dove facial cleanser wipes. They are not oily since they are used to wash your face. I love those wipes. My face is prone to getting dry and flakey around my forhead/nose area. Normally when I wash my face, I have to use a good moisturizer. I have forgotten to use moisturizer before and ended up with a red, dry patch right between my eyes. With the wipes, I don't even have to moisturize. I have no idea why that is, but it's amazing lol!
