Made in the USA

I will admit to refusing to buy certain products that weren't made in the US. This has nothing to do with xenophobic, isolationist tendencies, but that the majority of products I've made this decision about had been made in China, where a fair wage is not guaranteed and sweatshop labor is still a very real thing. I don't have the visceral, "no way in the world!" reaction with products made in the EU or other fair-wage nations.

One of the big factors in what workboot I decided to invest in came from where they were made. Lo and behold, most Redwings are still produced in the USA! And they are fine, comfortable shoes, at that.
