I'm also guessing the jacket is borrowed. It does appear to be an L-2A and everything in the photo looks like Korea. Of course, in 1952 Ike had more than three stars.

I can't imagine Ike wearing a borrowed jacket with only three stars when he got his fifth star way back toward the end of 1944. I have known a few generals, and they are most conscious of their stars*. But I can think of no other explanation, as the picture most definitely points to Korea.
Good eye, Atticus, for picking up on the three stars and the Meteor. Maybe you aren't ready for retirement after all.

*And that isn't to denigrate them as all are great guys, and I think the world of them--especially the only four star I know. He and I were friends when he was a lowly Major, and we were in a land far away and a time long ago.
