I think the slightly wider ribbon changes the entire look. I really dig it.

Beautiful hat, Jack. The more mid-ribbon and the shallow flanged brim are great choices.
Thank you guys! Keeping with a Western dress hat of that era I didn't want a 5/8 Campaign ribbon & bow but wanted to stick with a 13/16 or maybe 7/8 Western style bow.

And clash & flash colors just won't do for the style.

On that hat, I think the ribbon width is about as perfect as it could get. I'm not normally a big fan of black hats, but that one caught and held my attention. Looks right at home on you too!

Thanks, HJ.

Thank you, Jim. It’s not, it’s one of his earlier ones when moon got many of us to get in the queue. I often forget about it as it doesn’t usually come out till winter. He makes a fine hat.

Yeah, I'm close to pullng the trigger on another myself. I got "the itch."

That's a very nice one, though. You should drag it out more often.

I wore my fine new Gannon to work today, starting the new year off right! I did a few dry creases trying to see if I liked any of the ones I had in mind. None seemed to work on this hat. So I decided to go with the center crease alone, with a slight upturn of the brim. It still keeps the general shape of the hat, and I think at least, considering the color, that it looks more classy. You decide. So, as promised, new pics...

Good to see you and the hat coming to agreement on a crease.

Cheers, Eric -
