My Gannon arrived on Wednesday. I could not be more please. Michael followed my specs perfectly, from the 57.5 cm headband to the 5 3/4" open crown. And the whiskey color is probably my favorite of the any of the hats I own: very versatile and its changing hues look great in all kinds of light. I tried to incorporate some of the insight I gleaned from the Monster Bash thread into the diamond crease I put into it; and may fuss with it a little more. Bottom line: I've already asked Michael to put me in line for another order. Time to get that Dark Moss I've been wanting; maybe with a 2 3/4" brim this time.

it is gorgeous !!!

the color is granite but looks lighter in the pics than it actually is

2 1/2" raw edge brim
7/8 ribbon
beaver felt

cannot wait to dig my thumbs into that big fat crown

I'll probably keep this one as high as possible with a center dent and wide pinches

Well..... Michael has outdone himself once again.
This hat is everything he and I talked about when designing it.

The beaver felt is soft and beautifully finished.
Impeccably executed bound edge and bow.
Fantastic and soft roan leather sweat .
awesome liner and perfect fit.

Couldn't possibly be more happy.

OOOM GAWHWAH Anthony ! Drummers aren't All Crazy ! (but I know several that are) I'm S L O W L Y making my way from Start to the End of this Thread . If the guys that made the Big Bucks at HatCo and others ever listened , Hats (which are making a Come Back) would get back to what they used to be in quality , style , function , and down to earth where they became as normal as shoes (or Boots in mine and Bama's case) to leave the house for every and any purpose , like they used to be . GREAT GOING ! ... my eyes are bugging out , and my tongue hanging out , drooling ... . WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! To everyones collaborations , choices , etc , etc ... . So Nice !
