Sweet. I would buy the mouton collar if you don’t mind separating it from the jacket sale. Totally understand if you want to keep’em together. Beautiful jacket.

Edit: just realized it’s a 42, not sure it’ll work. The measurements are almost spot on with my 46. Crazy.

This is a rather large 42 for LW. Very similar to @think_zot LW46 as well

I would think the mouton collars would be interchangeable on the same style jackets. A question Stu might respond to? I don't think slight miss match with snap alinement would be noticeable.

I had Stu make a second mutton collar for a jacket, he insisted i send my original collar back to use as a guide to make the second one.
According to him each jacket/collar combo is unique, the snaps are not placed exactly in the same position on each jacket/collar.

I recall some mention of this, forgot it was you. Thanks.

Yes, these collar snaps do not perfectly line up with this jacket. I left the two outside snaps unbuttoned and snapped the 3 middle buttons to avoid a “scrunched” look. It work, but definitely not perfect.

I’m probably the last person who should answer that! My wife says I have two body temperatures; freezing or sweating! Lol. The lining is not overly thick but definitely not too thin either. Mid-range I’d say.

Is the lining very warm on this jacket?

Having owned a size 44 of the same LW J23 with the quilted lining in the past, I found the lining to be rather warm for a leather jacket. Some like this - others not so much. It will certainly keep you warm, that's for sure. It's not "down coat" warm, but more like a "polyfill insulation" level.
