Ah, that could be why she reminds me of mine. Luana was a stray that got picked-up, and then I adopted her. I've lived with cats all my life, but this one is scary in her intelligence and fiercely individual. She's a great companion.

My wife was in a hurry after Christmas shopping for our two dogs (and six grand-dogs) and having too much coffee, so she dropped the packages on the couch on her way to ”the facilities”.
The younger dog-ter helped herself and even picked out the gift destined for her.
She was not agreeable to putting it back in her stocking until Christmas morning.
Guess she’ll be getting a lump of coal then.
