I bought my girlfriend's mother's kitten, Aria, a canvas tote so that she'd have something to take all her important stuff - think cat toys - in when they go somewhere, but so far, it seems Aria thinks the tote is to carry her.

Into (~Eager) and Onni (~Lucky) on walk yesterday. They've just spotted a roe deer. From this angle Into looks halfway decent, I trimmed him for the summer heat and am not very good at it!

He reminds me so much of my Rusina (Raisin), who I lost to a wolf 3 years ago. They sure leave everlasting memories!

She has spent the last year or so living with my wife’s 96-year-old relative who has decided she can no longer care for her and wants us to give her a good home — which we will happily do. Our oldest Poodle (Ava) and Tori have the same parents, but from different litters.

Expect her to have a crazy haircut soon.

Tori’s former caretaker decided that she could no longer care for Tori’s sister so Tippy has now joined our Poodle herd.

She too had never been outside so the “farm” life is a welcome change for her.

She looks so happy! Given a chance, I think most dogs are happiest when outside. They get dirty and wet, and roll in dead things, and take off on errands we don't want them on, but those are the exact things that seem to make them happy! The photo of her wading the creek made me smile, for sure.

That there is real dog's life! Always makes me sad when people have dogs as decorations, not companions. Well done Sir!
