The vendor says it is 1950s. However, the lining and label look newer to me. No vents also suggests an earlier date. But i am not sure. What do others think?

It looks newer to me. Mainly the full lining, the material of the lining and the overall color scheme of the jacket doesn't say '50s or earlier to me. Also ventless jackets and suits were available and somewhat common in the '80s and '90s.

Exactly, it was the lining that said later to me. Maybe 1980s? It certainly has the boxy shape that was popular for a period then.
