Lost Worlds J24 Black Horsehide

Now there's a jacket that don't take no $#@& from anyone! The rest of us go from black leather to brown & maybe a blue. You go from red and now go to black! The J 24 rocks and so do you.

I figured out that since black is such a classic colour, you can go wild in other aspects

It’s a winter jacket, I wear my j23 with a hoodie in temperature around 10 degree(walking), warm and windproof.

Amazing J24!! What a great jacket there, and my oh my what you have ever signed yourself up for with the break-in. You'll hopefully get it done in the next decade!

I am starting to really consider sending my J23 To Alan at Johnson Leathers to have the quilted lining removed. I believe I will get a lot more use out of it with a standard sateen or drill lining, I just find it's rather warm as is with the quilted liner in there. Only thing I would have changed if I was ordering it again.

I would question changing the lining; first the black quilted lining flattens out over time and while it provides warmth I believe the thermal properties are reduced somewhat, second the you might want to contact Stuart about changing the lining if you go in that direction so you maintain the quality of the jacket. I have a LW J-23 in Goat with the quilted black lining I have used for riding across country a couple of times and this last time was in May and it surprised me how versatile the jacket has become over time.
