I have a J100 in 3 oz from Stu. Best hide I have ever handled. Thinner but still tough as nails with a great hand and grain developing after 1 season- very unexpected after several LW jackets in 3.5-4 oz plus.

i wonder if Stu is willing to make the J23 out of his 3 Oz leather. I would def consider it as my next big purchase next year.

I called Lost Worlds once to order replacement lining for a vintage G-1. I spoke to the gentlemen who answered the phone for a couple minutes about G-1s, both new and old, and it was a pleasant conversation. After everything I had read I was quite surprised to be having such a nice chat and so finally I asked if I was speaking to Stu. He confirmed that I was, and we chatted a little more before he took my order down and ended the call. I found him to be quite earnest and very knowledgeable as well.
