interesting take on the collar, brass snaps would look more natural, but perhaps this black snaps will fade to brass one day too

There was a third jacket, also Bison, it was a LW Roadmaster. That jacket did have brass buttons. The Brass looked nice.

The collar is the same as on those trademark leather biker vests. LW makes these as well. It's a very common style, I just don't think it looks so good with the sleeves but longer I look at it, I think I could become used to it just fine.

Buffalo of the water variety and Bison of the American Buffalo, are such interesting hides. Most of them are heavily grained and much thicker than cow or horse. But comparably light weight. They are usually a spongey sort of hide. You’ll feel how thick it is and then be amazed at how light it is when you put it on. And if you’re a fan of grain/character well then these are the hides for you.

I had one of these but without the pockets and without the collar. Very nice, but the shoulders were too wide and stuck straight out past my shoulders, so it looked funny on me. I contacted him and asked if he would take the shoulders in on it and he said no

I'm not sure how I feel about the design. Maybe it has to grow on me. However, I love the execution! LW continues to impress.
