Lost Worlds G1 - anybody had one?

Does anybody have a Lost Worlds G1, or has anybody seen one close up?

Yes, I had one. Beautiful jacket, but, a little too small for me, so, off it went into the well of had-it-sold-it jackets. Too bad; it was really nice. Nope, no readily available pics. This was 4-5 years ago.

I'm curious about their G-1 as well. LOVE the LW A-2 and am currently looking for a G-1/M-422 jacket. LW is definitely one to consider!

Saw one in NYC about 9 years ago. Beautiful jacket, purple-tinged liner, super quality of materials/construction. I believe at the time I wasn't in the market for one, but if I did want a repro, it'd be one to consider

Posting the pic in full size so you can really look it over. I got one of these about two years ago now. The cut is a bit trim in the body and the arms are slightly long, but beyond that, I love it. It's probably one of the most solidly built M422a's I've ever had, and I've had a few now. I don't know anything about the historical accuracy of it, but it is a very solidly built jacket, as Lost Worlds tends to produce. The goatskins used is serious business. It's soft and pliable but has a definite weight to it. It's pretty similar to the heavy goatskin Langlitz uses.

I have a M422 from goodwear and you talk about the most supple leather EVER!! I got the M422 because
the G-1s are really common and I much prefer the reddish/purple lining to the ever present brown lining
on the G-1's.

Interesting! The collar seems slightly smaller than some of the others I've seen, somehow, is that true?

What size is that G-1? What's the sleeve and pit to put measurements? The LW A-2 runs true to size if not a bit larger (modern sizing, not WWII trim-fit).
And I always wondered about the LW mouton: is it that dark or is that just the camera/lighting? Is it soft mouton (like cat fur) or more curly/tight in consistency ?

I'll answer all the measurement questions this weekend, when I get a little more time, promise. Just wanted to get this fit pic up. I took a bunch, but this was, oddly, the only one that came out well. I'm not great at these static photos.

Thor, the collar is soft mouton, like a cat, and it is that dark.
