Looking for the name of this b/w WW2 movie...

I saw the ending of this movie many years ago. The main character is (I think) a British officer who is posing as a German general. At the end, he's telling Hitler personally that several of his own people are traitors. He escapes from the bunker, apparently going West and is captured by either a Brit or US patrol, can't recall which. The very end of the movie has him walking down a street in his British officer's uniform and a soldier salutes him, he starts to give the German salute then remembers how to salute properly again.
Does anyone have clue as to the title of this movie?

The bummer here is that I can't find a DVD for it. So I know about the movie, but still can't watch it...
